The goal of this paper is to consider the phenomenon of inclusion from a philosophical - specifically, anthropological and ethical-perspective. The reason is simple: inclusive education employs terms such as "humanity," "person," "every person," "person with special needs" and so on. It is therefore about people. The article deals with a quasiexperimental designed research project implemented in the Czech Republic. The research was aimed at finding possible predictors of changes in attitudes of pupils in the upper elementary school towards people with disabilities. A total of 102 teachers and 1714 pupils participated in this quantitative study. The outcomes of the research open up different ways to modify pupils' attitudes towards people with disabilities.
