Financial Literacy of Pupils in Primary Education

A person is not born financially literate. Like other skills, the orientation in the world of finance has fundamentals in family education and in education at school. Developing financial literacy should not be only the privilege of mathematics in the school environment. Implementation of tasks aimed at developing financial literacy should be provided by teachers of all school subjects. In this paper we describe the results of the financial literacy of pupils at primary education. We present the results of the tasks created in accordance with the National Standard of Financial Literacy of the Slovak Republic.
The Level of Creative Abillities of Children in the Czech Republic and Turkey

The article is focused on creativity of primary school children who grow up in various religious, cultural and living conditions. For data collection was chosen Torrance figural test of Creative Thinking, which was assigned at six primary schools in the Czech Republic and the Republic of Turkey and tested on 360 pupils, from 1. to 5. grades of primary school. The article contains results comparing children from these two countries, showing differences not only in level of creativity between Czech and Turkish children, but also differences between education systems of the countries.
The Topic of Buoyancy as Research Box for Pupils

This paper focuses on the research based development and arrangement of a so-called interactive research box on the topic of buoyancy and evaluates if pupils can be lead to inquiry-based learning by physical experiments. A "research box" is an interactive exhibit comprising the implementation and evaluation of experiments, where visitors (here mostly pupils from 9-12 years) are not only encouraged to activity but also to reflection. The development is done with regard to design and suitability as learning environment. Evaluation of the exhibit is done by participant observation of pupils. Using Geometric Concepts in the World of Preschool Children

Developing and building geometric ideas with preschool children is one of the basic aims of education in kindergartens. We focused on the perception different geometric concepts of children in this age. With the given concepts they should meet and work within geometric preparation. We specify particular educational activity appropriate to the age of the child, which we have included in the educational process. We have noticed the perception of geometric concepts by children in kindergarten; it means what different verbal names they used in their activities.
