AB  - The paper describes the preschool education of children of Volynian Czechs in the years 1868-1945. Education of children in this area was not easy and usually lacked the financial and material (didactics) background. Despite the absence of institutions kindergarten, however, managed to adequately prepare children for entry into primary school, whether through performances and educational impact, or child-oriented news and the journals in which children are acquainted with the basics of national realities, history and culture.
