It has been long observed that one of the ways to motivate students to solve mathematical tasks is to include didactic games in math lessons. An additional motivating factor can be performing the instruction in a foreign language, e.g. implementing the well-known bilingual approach CLIL. In this paper we describe our initial experience with implementing CLIL approach into mathematics education. In our teaching practices we included two didactical games performed in the English language functioning as mathematical warm-ups at the beginning of math lessons for ten year old students. Students managed to acquire the key mathematical terms in the foreign language easily and quickly.
