Specifically, it describes the attitude of professionals (teachers, psychologists, graphologists and handwriting experts). We examined their views on the pros and cons of unbound fonts (Comenia Script font, hereinafter referred to as CS) and also of bound classic font used for teaching. Then it compares the results of some previous studies that investigated the views of parents of children in kindergarten and teachers. Professional public considers writing classic script as faster, which is different from those of other respondents. Given that the Czech Republic do not have a long experience with unbound fonts (especially CS font) results represent restraint and opinions disunity of professionals. The paper also introduces the current legislation of unbound fonts teaching in primary schools. ER
